About us

little treasures was established in 2005 after I decided not to return to my previous job following maternity leave. Having worked for a large organisation for several years, I wanted something which would allow me to work for myself, that would let out my creativity - I have always been quite 'arty' - and allow flexibility with childcare. I saw PMC (precious metal clay) on a TV shopping channel one day and thought I would love to try it out; I attended a course to find out more and I did love it. Even now I am fascinated by the versatility of PMC and the almost alchemic process by which it turns from clay to silver when fired.

So strictly speaking, it's 'me' rather than us! I am a sole trader and I work from home in Camborne, where I make every piece of jewellery by hand. I am a member of the Made in Cornwall scheme.

I also make silver jewellery in spired by nature, some of which you can see on my other website, Sue Winter Jewellery. When I attend craft fairs and other events I often sell this jewellery as well as fingerprint jewellery.
